So, the time has come for another ScareACon.
I "splurged" and bought an end cap table. This allowed me to have two aisles that allowed easier access to see my work. My booth isn't even close to what I "see" it being down the road, but it's going in the right direction. I see more burlap and hand painted "price" signs in my future, as well as a backdrop.
Over the past half year or so, I've really jumped into designing plush. My gallery exhibitions have really taken a back seat while I push forward with creating my own brand. The attendees responded well, and a bunch of my plush have new homes. I'm pretty pumped to get a couple wholesale inquires since the convention ended.
I was more than happy with my hotel room. It was nicer and larger than I thought it would be. Even though it was more than what I wanted to pay, it was totally worth it.
So in the end the show was a blast. Even though the turnout was way lower than last year, I did pretty good. I met tons of great people and made some new fans. Oh and the bars at Turning Stone are pretty lame, except the Tanqueray Tiger. Jazz band/Martini Bar/Smoking/Huge ornate couches. That place is outstanding.
Next up, THe Horror Sci-Fi Garage sale on the 27th.
Side note-Updates to the site will be coming soon. I'll be posting more Plush and Prints for sale asap.
